Pets are supposed to be companions, showing us love, affection and asking nothing else from us other than clean, fresh water, food and to have their bellies rubbed and maybe a game of fetch.  As a dog owner, I provide all of this and more to my dog, she provides me with unquestioned love and attention.  Some people need to take it a step further and humiliate their pets for their own enjoyment.  This is why pets hate Halloween.
