The future of America is doomed
Last night, the Miss Teen USA pageant was broadcasted into who knows how many millions of homes. Being that I was both unaware that it was on and not caring, I missed everything about it, until this morning. Going through RSS feeds I came across a YouTube clip of Miss South Carolina 2007, all 48 seconds of her fumbling over a question. Her answer literally made me wince.
Are you fucking serious? The only saving grace to all of this madness is an update I read in the Wikipedia while building links for this article,
In March 2007 it was announced that the broadcast of the Miss Teen USA pageant on NBC had not been renewed, and that Miss Teen USA 2007 would be the final televised event.

Call me an optimist, but hearing that NBC opted not to broadcast the Miss Teen USA tells me that we might not be doomed after all!
