One year ago I redesigned and refined my business cards, it’s time to get some more printed and I’ve also ordered an 18×24 gallery wrapped canvas print. Based on reviews from friends and the ease of setup, I’ve chosen to go with UPrinting.com and should have the cards and print shortly.

The business cards are available gloss, matte and uncoated to meet whatever need you may have. I’m not a huge fan of glossy stock, so the matte and uncoated really appeal to me. They are also available in standard 2×3.5” card sizes and less common 2×3” and 2×2”, or a custom size of your choice. 4-color front is standard; backs can be done in black only, 4-color or blank. I’ve long been a fan of blank so that I can write notes on them to people. All business cards are certified recycled (up to 30%) card stock printed with soy / vegetable based inks and water based coatings.

Canvas prints are something I’ve long been a fan of and have several hanging in my house. They cost more than a similar sized photo paper print, but considering you can get them stretched and ready to hang without having to spend extra money on a frame, matting and archival grade glass, it’s a total wash. The impact of canvas is also much nicer in my opinion. The texture of the canvas that it’s being printed on really lends to making an image stand out, as does the 1.5” it comes off the wall.
