Unless you have been living under a rock you’ve probably heard about the Michael Vick dog fighting allegations. As a dog owner, this is extremely sad to hear about, not because he’s famous, but because it is so cruel to animals.

VickChewToy.com is taking a stance on the situation, selling chew toys that look like the football player and donating the profits to animal shelters and rescues. The downside is that that site is loaded with tons of ads that don’t really need to be there and only hinder the actual purpose of the site, awareness.

I do recommend donating (or volunteering) at your local animal shelter or rescue when you can. To find your local shelter, visit the Human Society.
