Michael, it really depends. The minimum size for iStock is 1600×1200, or 2mp. The quality of the image is what will be the deciding factor. If you look at the image at 100% and do not see a lot of digital noise, you should be ok to at least try submitting it.

Thanks! Great article by the way. You mention using vacation photos, but if those photos were taken with a 3 mp camera are they useless?

You keep confusing the difference between the words “then” and “than”. It’s incredibly distracting and detracts from the quality of your writing.
