Money is an issue with nearly everyone, not just us greedy Americans. The national minimum wage is set to rise to $7.25 an hour pending a vote by the House. Yes we make much more then most places in the world. Yes we are bloated and fat Americans. The vast majority of those who inhabit the globe are poor. Not because they want to be, but because of infrastructure in their countries, bad politicians or just no real need for money.

Could you get by at minimum wage? At what point do you have enough to be content?
