I haven’t had a subscription to a newspaper in years; more so, I haven’t had a desire to have a subscription in even longer. Newspapers document yesterday’s news, why do I want to read about that? Most of the content of any given paper comes from the AP, so it’s sent out in mass; the local articles never have any real insight on anything and are so politically correct it makes me want to gag.

My local paper has an online version of the printed paper and 99% of the content that makes it in print is online, plus a bunch that never does. I need content now, I am a product of the need for instant content, information and stimulation, and waiting until tomorrow does nothing for me. Outside of the need for Sunday coupons, why does anyone really need a newspaper anymore?
