Back in March a contest was started to win a free USB Flash Drive sponsored by the best place on the internet to find deals on cheap stuff. The guidelines are simple; enter your email address for the Randomn3ss newsletter and one random person will win the flash drive after 100 people have signed up.

On Saturday April 21st we had 102 registered and confirmed people signed up, I randomly chose an email and contacted the lucky winner. The rules stipulate that they have 24 hours to reply. Sunday rolled around and no response so I moved to a second random email. That person has about two hours to get back to me before I move to the third random email.

I swear it’s never been harder to give something away for free!

Update: I have no moved onto the 3rd person who has till 2pm EST tomorrow to get back to me with a mailing address.

Update again: I’m now on the 4th random person on the list.

Update again again: The 5th person has now been contacted.
