There is no secret that eating well and often will not only give you the energy you need to make it through the day, but there are better foods to eat during the later parts of the day to help get a good night’s sleep. While I have been guilty of raiding the fridge right before hopping in bed, which admittedly is bad, Yahoo Food has some great suggestions for foods to help relax you and get you ready for a good night of snoozing, not counting sheep.

The obvious items are on the list such as chamomile tea and warm milk, but there are a few surprises as well. In addition, there is a great receipt at the end for some low fat muffins!
