College kids have the best light sabre fights
If you are anything like me, you hate Monday because it sucks.
Here’s hoping that the video below makes your Monday slightly better. Some backstory: on Preston & Steve this morning, they were talking about this student from Villanova University referred to only as “Mendel Doug.” This dude walks around this quad/field called “Mendel Field,” always clad in sandals and shorts, carrying his trusty light sabre.
That’s right – a light sabre.
Apparently, some kids decided to see what would happen if they walked up to Mendel Doug with light sabres of their own and challenged him to a fight. These fights are totally unchoreographed and, as you will see, only ended badly for the challengers. Let it be known that I was the videographer for an epic light sabre battle that took place during my senior year of high school between my friends Matt and Ian who challenged math teacher Mrs. Sarnes (she dominated their asses). Thus, I am incredibly jealous that I don’t go to Villanova and am sad that Mendel Doug is alledgedly graduating this spring.
The background music is clutch too – takes me back to 8th grade. Enjoy!!

Saber like the Darth Lord of the Sith!
Both men and women from younglings to wrinklies are learning to saber. Sabering is a very safe and lifelong sport. It’s a great way to get fit and to keep the Jedi at bay. Anyone can learn to saber with the right instruction.
Darth Voomp is a G.S.S.A Certified and Part-Time Sabering Instructor. He has taught and fenced on several major Outer Rim worlds including Dagobah, Endor and Kashyyyk. He is Founder and President of the galactic Sith Fencers Association, the scourge of the Jedi, a master of the dark side of the Force, and one of the Emperor’s most trusted servants.
