Back in March a contest sponsored by the best place on the Internet to find deals on cheap stuff was started. The rules were simple, sign up for the newsletter, verify your account and wait. After 100 people were signed up, a random person would be chosen to win a 1GB USB Flash Drive. More then 80 names were signed up over the following 48 hours or so but the last twenty took about 3 weeks, finally we had a winner.

The rules also stipulated that the winner would be contacted via email and had 24 hours to reply, otherwise another random name would be chosen. Six names later and I still had no idea it would be this hard to give stuff away for free.

On the seventh day I blogged about the winners who didn’t win, this must have been the lucky day because that is when we crowned a winner. Alex replied to my email last Thursday within an hour and shortly there after I dropped the prize in the mail for him.

The contest is officially over but another one will be starting at some point in the very soon to near future, probably based on the newsletter again, so go sign up!
